City Tuk Tuk
City Tuk Tuk is a real simulation of driving a tuk tuk in Egypt: you take the handlebars and work shifts through the streets of a living city — traffic, lights, bumps, potholes, police checkpoints, petrol stations and people walking by. The first version — the one that ships — has ten Egyptian cities: Cairo, Giza, Alexandria, Port Said, Mansoura, Tanta, Asyut, Luxor, Aswan and Hurghada, all joined by one complete road network: thirteen real Egyptian highways between them — the Ring Road, the Agricultural Road, the Desert Road, the coastal road, Zaafarana and Safaga — with gates, checkpoints, tunnels and bridges along the way. Every city has six areas to drive to: markets, corniches, train stations, downtown, universities, beaches, ports and monuments such as the Pyramids area, Karnak Temple, the Valley of the Kings and the Aswan Dam — sixty places in the first release. The city shifts from morning to night, and the weather turns to rain, thunder, dust and fog with the road going slick under you. You drive around looking for passengers, take them where they need to go and collect the fare, talk to people on the street and finish your daily jobs — then spend what you earn in the garage upgrading the tuk tuk, repainting it and styling your driver. The game is in both Arabic and English.
