Our games and apps

What is on the stores today, and what we are getting ready for you next.

Who are we, and where did we start?

Every studio has a story behind it. This one is ours.

1

A kid who loved playing

It started with a small boy who spent his time in front of games. He didn't just play — every time he asked himself the same question: how was this made, and who drew these characters?

2

Curiosity became a degree

The question grew with him until he enrolled in Computers and Information. There he learned how code turns into a whole world, and found out that a good game needs a programmer's mind and an artist's eye at once.

3

Designer and developer

He worked on both sides: graphic design and game development. Every project taught him something, and every idea brought the dream closer.

4

The decision

He noticed that the Egyptian market was full of imported games and had very little that looked like us. So he decided that one of his biggest projects would be a whole shelf of Egyptian games and apps — modern, fun and smart, carrying the alley, the tale, the joke and the gathering.

5

Two years of work

These games and apps were not built overnight. Over the past two years he worked on them one by one, coming back to each to push it further — new levels, better art, finer detail — so that when they launch they are genuinely good and worthy of the players here.

6

Anubis Studio

And so the studio was born under the name Anubis, the guardian and the guide of ancient Egypt. The first app is on the stores, and the rest are on their way.

7

Hossam Gamal

And the kid who started this story is Hossam Gamal, the founder of Anubis Studio. The story is still being written: every new game or app is a new chapter — and you are part of it. Try them, tell us what you think, suggest what's missing, and stay close.

Graphic designer & game developer · Founder of Anubis Studio

An Egyptian games and apps studio founded by Hossam Gamal, a graphic designer and game developer with a degree in Computers and Information. It grew out of his love of games and his belief that Egyptian players deserve local experiences that feel close to home, so the studio builds games and apps with a genuinely Egyptian character, including calm experiences for children and families.

Why Anubis?

In ancient Egypt, Anubis was the guardian who protects, the guide who takes the traveller's hand along the way, and the one who stands by the scales as the heart is weighed against the feather of truth. A truly Egyptian symbol — and a jackal that the whole world recognises at a glance.

We chose the name because we want every game and every app we make to carry these three things:

A guardian of the Egyptian storyWe keep our own spirit — the alley, the proverbs, the old tales — and hand it to a new generation in a modern shape.
A guide for the playerJust as Anubis guides the traveller, we build clear, easy experiences that hold your hand from the very first screen.
The scales of craftWeighing the heart takes precision and honesty; that is what we aim for in every detail — careful work, honest with the people who play it.

What we make, and how

Egyptian at heart

Made with care

Stars of the Month

Anyone who plays more than one of our games with the same Google or Apple account is honoured here by name at the end of every month — the least we owe people who keep waiting for what we make next.
