Shwaya Masry — Privacy Policy
This page explains what data the game Shwaya Masry uses, why, and how you control it.

Playing without an account
You can play without an account. In that case your progress, in-game coins, settings and table results are stored locally on your device. Uninstalling the app or clearing its data removes that local save.
Account and sync
If you choose to sign in with Google or Apple, we receive the account identifier, the name, the email address and the profile picture the provider makes available. We use them to show your profile and to sync your progress, coins and achievements through Firebase. We never receive your Google or Apple password. Signing in is optional.
Online play
When you create or join a room, the service processes your nickname, the room code, a random session identifier, the match state and the moves played. Players inside a room only see the data the match requires, and a private hand stays hidden from the other players. A room expires after 30 minutes of inactivity and is deleted at the next attempt to reach it.
Advertising and privacy consent
The mobile version uses Google AdMob and optional rewarded ads. Google may process your IP address, an inferred approximate location, app or device identifiers, ad interaction, and performance and diagnostic data in order to serve and measure the ad and prevent fraud. We request non-personalised ads, and the consent message and privacy options appear where they are required. The game does not request GPS location, contacts or photos. See Google's own policy for details.
Content and connectivity
The game downloads signed question packs from Firebase Hosting and carries a built-in question bank so it works offline. The hosting and sync services may receive technical request data such as the IP address, connection time and basic device information needed for security and operation.
Notifications
You can turn on a single daily reminder for the gift, the play streak or the challenges. The on/off choice and the time are stored on your device, and scheduling happens locally against the device's own day and clock. We only ask for the notification permission when you enable the feature, and you can turn it off at any time from inside the game or in your device settings.
Sharing and security
We do not sell your personal data. We share data with Google and Firebase only as far as sign-in, sync, hosting, online play, advertising, security and fraud prevention require. Data is sent to those services over an encrypted connection.
Retention and deletion
The local save stays on your device until you clear the app's data. Account progress stays until you delete the account. From «حكايتي» (My story) inside the game you can permanently delete your Firebase account and your cloud progress. If you cannot get into the game, use the account deletion page (anubisstudio.net/p/shwaya-masry-delete-account) or write to us from the account's email address. Room data is temporary, for the period described above, and we may keep limited technical logs for as long as security, fault-fixing or a legal obligation requires.
Children and your rights
The game is not intentionally directed at children below the age that requires a parent's consent in their country. You may ask to see, correct or delete your account data by email. We may ask you to prove you own the account before acting on a request about its data.
Anonymous usage count
At most once a day, the game sends an anonymous count report to Anubis Studio: the name of the game, the device type (iOS/Android), the interface language, the version number, and whether this is a first run. No identifier, no name and no location. The country is counted from the network and we do not store the IP address.
Stars of the Month (only while signed in)
Every month Anubis Studio honours the people who play more than one of its games with the same Google or Apple account (anubisstudio.net/stars). For that — and only while you are signed in with Google or Apple, never as a guest — the game sends once a day: the name of the game, the play time since the last report, and the name you use inside the game, together with the game's ID token so the server can verify it is you.
The Google or Apple account id itself is never stored here: the server turns it into one fixed salted key, which is what tells us the person playing two of our games is the same person, without us knowing your account. We keep the email in our admin panel so we can reach you if you are honoured — it is never shown on the site, never sold and never shared. What gets published on the site is the name, the games, the hours and a thank-you line, and nothing else. Guest play is not part of this at all, and you can ask for your name and data to be removed at any time at support@anubisstudio.net.
Changes and contact
If our data practices change we will update this page and its date. For any question or privacy request, contact Hossam Gamal at support@anubisstudio.net.
