Delete your account and data

Inside the app (immediate)

  • Open Rooh Al-Muslim while connected to the internet.
  • Tap the Settings tab in the bottom bar.
  • Scroll down to Danger Zone and tap Delete Account.
  • Tap Delete Permanently in the confirmation message.

Our server immediately deletes your profile, your prayer settings and the Firebase account itself; the app's data is then wiped from your device and the app starts again with a new identity. If deletion fails on the server, nothing is deleted from your device and you can try again.

If you can't open the app

Email support@anubisstudio.net with the subject "Delete Rooh Al-Muslim account", and include your display name or any details that help us find your account (such as the email you used in "Ask a scholar"). We never ask for a password. We delete your data and reply within 30 days.

What is deleted, and when

  • Immediately when you confirm: your profile on our servers (with your display name and points, so you disappear from the Honor Board), your location and prayer settings, notification delivery diagnostics, and the Firebase account itself.
  • Automatically in the background right after (usually within minutes): daily counts and statistics, the worship logs and purchase records stored in your profile, cloud backups and their files, questions, suggestions and contributions, comments, replies, likes and reports, crash reports linked to your ID, your push token, and your entry in the Honor Board cache.
  • On your device: all of the app's data and settings are wiped.

What we keep

  • The store purchase record, detached from your account, so you can restore your purchases.
  • Moderation ban decisions.
  • Aggregate statistics that do not identify you.
  • Anonymous crash reports, which are deleted automatically after 60 days.

Deleting your account does not cancel a store subscription. To stop renewal: on iPhone go to Settings → your name → Subscriptions; on Android go to Google Play → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions.
